Cancellation conditions in relation to Covid-19

If a booking is confirmed the follwoing conditions apply automatically: 

Cancellation policy and Supplementary agreement concerning corona virus (SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19) or similar diseases

The deadlines for the cancellation conditions can be found on the "cancellation policy" links during the online booking process or on your booking confirmation.

The general provisions of the cancellation policy are as follows:

  • In case of late cancellation, no-show, late arrival or early departure 100% of the total amount booked will be charged
  • In no case will there be a refund or waiver of the cancellation fees, especially not for cancellations, no-show, late arrival, early departure, illness*, pandemic*, epidemic*, travel restrictions*, cancelled flights* or any other type of cancelled transport*, quarantine regulations*, etc.
  • We recommend our guests to take out travel insurance
  • The supplementary agreement concerning the corona virus is from 22nd September 2020 on an integral part of all cancellation policies

Supplementary agreement concerning corona virus (SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19) or similar diseases:

The current corona pandemic (SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19) is no longer considered a case of force majeure (major force). Accordingly, our cancellation policies and conditions always apply and are also applicable in this case.

Our cancellation policies also apply in the following cases, and a waiver of the cancellation fee or a refund of the deposit after the expiration of the cancellation policy deadlines are excluded and not possible:

  • If you are afraid to travel, but a trip is possible
    (this also applies if you belong to the risk groups)
  • If your country puts Switzerland on the quarantine list and you have to go into quarantine in your country after your return journey
  • If your flight/trip/any other means of transport is cancelled but other flights/trips/other means of transport can be booked during the holiday period in question (+/- one month)
  • If your flight/trip/any other means of transport is cancelled and an entry is only possible on another day
  • If you have to go into quarantine or you get sick (also due to COVID-19/SARS-CoV-2) ; please check your insurance coverage
  • If some services/infrastructure/ski area(s) are closed, but the core competence of the hotel is open (room and breakfast)
  • Free cancellation and refund of the deposit when booking the Flexi Bonus/Flexi Rate or the non-refundable rate is excluded in any case (even if the reason for cancellation is related to the Corona Pandemic)
  • This list is not exhaustive

Only in the following cases will it be possible to cancel free of charge and/or refund the deposit after expiration of the cancellation policy deadline - the following free cancellation options do not apply to bookings with Flexi Bonus/Flexi Rate and for bookings with the non-refundable rate:

  • If Switzerland puts your country on the Swiss quarantine list* after the cancellation policy deadline has expired or if Switzerland does not remove your country from the Swiss quarantine list* before the cancellation policy deadline expires and you must first be placed in quarantine after entering Switzerland
  • If you are totally prevented from travelling and travel to Switzerland is completely impossible and there is no transport for the holiday period in question (+/- 1 month), for example, if all airports are closed, there are no flights at all or the authorities in your country prevent you from leaving and the borders are closed

Our cancellation policy for bookings with the Flexi Bonus - the following cancellation policy replaces the "normal cancellation policy" if you add the Flexi Bonus to the booked rate: 

  • We require a full payment at the day of the reservation. The full payment is 100% non-refundable.
  • It is possible to change twice the arrival date of your reservation.
  • An amendment of the arrival date, it is possible to be declined due to limited availability and a minimum stay regulation.
  • An amendment of the arrival date between 2 and 0 days prior to the originally planned arrival, can only cause the expiration of the deposit and it can’t be used for a future reservation.
  • If your amended arrival date is in a period with a lower rate, we will refund you the price difference at the check-out.
  • If your amended arrival date is in a period with a higher rate, you will pay the difference at the check-out.
  • The winter ski passes are not free of charge (possible extra cost).
  • You can only amend the reservation twice and between an 18-month period from the originally reserved date. If is longer than 18 months you are losing the deposit and it is not possible to use it for a future reservation.
  • In no case will there be a refund, especially not for cancellations, no-show, late arrival, early departure, illness*, pandemic*, epidemic*, travel restrictions*, cancelled flights* or any other type of cancelled transport*, quarantine regulations*, etc.
  • The supplementary agreement concerning the corona virus is from 22nd September 2020* on an integral part of all cancellation policies (see above)

Our non-refundable rate cancellation policy - the following cancellation policy replaces the "normal cancellation policy" if you have booked the non-refundable rate:

  • Reservations with the non-refundable rate cannot be cancelled for free in any case
  • In any case of a cancellation we request a 100% of the total package price in advance and no-refund is possible
  • In case of late cancellation, no-show, late arrival or early departure 100% of the total amount booked will be charged
  • In no case will there be a refund, especially not for cancellations, no-show, late arrival, early departure, illness*, pandemic*, epidemic*, travel restrictions*, cancelled flights* or any other type of cancelled transport*, quarantine regulations*, etc.
  • We recommend our guests to take out travel insurance
  • The supplementary agreement concerning the corona virus is from 22nd September 2020* on an integral part of all cancellation policies
