Covid-19 certificate obligation for hotel infrastructures
Travel rules for Switzerland

In Switzerland, a Covid-19 certificate obligation will apply
from 13 September 2021
. The certificate must be scanned
by hotel staff at check-in in order to use the hotel infrastructures.

Information for guests having been vaccinated
outside the European Union: 
Until 10th October 2021
your certificates are valid.
From 10th october 2021 you need to apply for a conversion into
a Swiss certificate. More information will follow.

a valid certificate:

Testing capacities in Wengen are very limited. Please do a PCR
test or antibody test in Switzerland before arriving in the Jungfrau
region to obtain a valid certificate.

Where can tests been taken?
The tests can be done in appropriate pharmacies,
at the airport or in Bern, Interlaken and in Lauterbrunnen.

How long is a test valid?
Currently, a rapid antigenic test is valid for 48 hours. A PCR test
is valid for 72 hours. Please note that you will often receive the
certificate for a PCR test only after 48 hours.

Do I have to test several times if I stay longer than 48h?
Until we get more detailed answers from the authorities, you have
to get tested again after 48h (PCR 72h)
